Job summary

GIFT Transport Inc. is seeking Class A CDL drivers for Amazon Freight Partner (OTR). Compensation starts at $24.00/hour with benefits and a consistent weekly schedule.

You will haul Amazon loads using new equipment and maintain round-trip routes for a 5-day on-the-road shift with two days at home. Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid CDL, pass the DOT medical exam, have a good MVR/DAC, and be proficient with GPS and smartphone apps.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Must pass DOT medical exam.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• No current CDL suspensions or revocations.
• Good MVR and DAC report.
• Able to use GPS and smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Haul Amazon loads (primarily no touch freight) with Amazon-branded equipment.
• Service round-trip routes for a 5 day on-the-road shift with 2 days home.
• Support Amazon's on-time and accurate delivery commitments.

Class A CDL Drivers for Amazon Freight Partner (OTR-5 day tour)

Compensation: $24.00/hour take-home pay + benefits

What you’ll do:

• Haul Amazon loads (primarily no touch freight) using state of the art Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs
• Service round-trip routes for a 5 day on the road shift and 2 days home.
• Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to exceed customer expectations and deliver packages on time and at the right place

What you’ll need:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Must successfully Pass DOT Physical
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
• No current CDL suspension or revocation
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & good DAC Report
• Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS

You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.
