Job summary

BB8 Freight is seeking a CDL-A flatbed driver to join our professional team on a contract basis. You will operate late-model flatbed equipment, safely securing lumber, steel, coils and machinery for live loads and unloads across the continental U.S.

Expect weekly pay between $2,500 and $3,500, with a 28-30% load gross structure, direct deposits every Friday, and generous home-time of 4 days at home after 3 weeks out. Apply if you have verifiable flatbed experience and clean driving history.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience (verifiable).
• Must have verifiable flatbed experience.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• Experience with loads (lumber, steel, coils, heavy machinery, etc.).
• Experience with chains, chain binders, straps, tarps, blankets, dunnage and edge protectors.
• No SAP Violations.
• NO CALIFORNIA CDLS.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A flatbed truck.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections.
• Secure and transport freight safely & efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
