Job summary

JAT of Fort Wayne is seeking an Over-the-Road CDL Class A Driver to transport dry van and refrigerated freight across Great Lakes, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and East Coast lanes. You will uphold safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction while maximizing Hours of Service and maintaining FMCSA regulations.

We offer starting pay packages at $0.70 CPM with two pay options, 100% No-Touch Freight, and weekly pay. Late-model equipment and a supportive team help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 18 months of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Safe driving record required.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Commitment to operating safely and protecting CSA Safety Score.
• Disqualifiers: SAP, DUI, or Non-Domiciled CDL applicants.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport dry and refrigerated freight.
• Maximize available Hours of Service while remaining compliant with FMCSA regulations.
• Operate safely in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and issues.
• Represent JAT of Fort Wayne professionally with customers and the public.
