The University of Miami Health System is seeking a surgeon scientist Otologist ENT who will run an independent clinic while leading a research program to advance the institution's mission. The role combines clinical practice (surgery and clinic) with academic efforts, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and developing ongoing departmental research.

Ideal candidates will be board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology and hold an MD/DO with advanced Otology training;

Qualificações

• MD/DO required.
• Board eligible or Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
• Advanced Otology fellowship is preferred.
• Florida medical license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Clinical practice at UHealth including surgery and clinic = 60%.
• Academic block time to develop research program = 40%.
• Teaching, training and supervision of house staff and medical students.
• Development of and participation in ongoing research programs in the department of Otolaryngology.
• Participation in department and hospital committees and administrative matters.
