Job summary

SLUCare Physician Group, the academic medical practice of SSM Health and Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is seeking a Board-certified or Board-Eligible Surgeon Scientist in Otolaryngology to join our Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery as a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

This opportunity emphasizes research, academic medicine, resident education, and clinical excellence, with dedicated research time split with clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure.
• Active history of grant funding or strong research plan.
• Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and research.
• Interest in resident education and mentorship.
• Fellowship training is welcome but not required.
• H-1B visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow an academic otolaryngology practice.
• Participate in resident and medical student education.
• Engage in research with protected time (40-50% FTE).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other researchers.
