SSM Health and SLUCare Physician Group invite applications for a Board-certified or Board-Eligible Surgeon Scientist in Otolaryngology to join as a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in St. Louis, Missouri.

The position emphasizes a strong research focus with dedicated time for laboratory or translational work, while maintaining clinical duties, resident education, and academic advancement within a premier medical center.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABOTO/Head and Neck Surgery (as applicable).
• Missouri medical licensure required or eligible.
• Active or history of grant funding for research.
• Commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and research.
• Fellowship training welcomed but not required; strong research credentials valued.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow an academic otolaryngology practice within a leading medical center.
• Engage in resident education and medical student teaching.
• Lead or participate in externally funded research projects.
• Provide high-quality patient care in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery.
• Collaborate with basic science and clinical researchers within SLUCare and SSM Health.
