Job summary

The U.S. Navy seeks an experienced Otolaryngologist to provide specialized ENT care for service members, diagnosing and treating hearing loss, sinus disorders, throat conditions, and facial injuries, with a focus on maintaining operational readiness at home and abroad.

You will participate in emergencies, preventive care, rehabilitation, and work across major bases including Bethesda, MD, San Diego, CA, and Portsmouth, VA, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified).
  • Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology (or in final year of residency).
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Otolaryngology residency (or in final year).
  • U.S. Citizenship; Age 21–57.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat hearing loss, sinus disorders, throat conditions, and facial injuries.
  • Provide specialized ENT care for service members and support rehabilitation efforts.
  • Handle emergency ENT cases and ensure operational readiness at home and abroad.
  • Support preventive care and continuity of care across locations.

Education

Job description

Key Responsibilities

You'll provide specialized care for service members with conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and related structures. Your role will include diagnosing and treating hearing loss, sinus disorders, throat conditions, and facial injuries. You will also handle emergency cases, offer preventive care, and support rehabilitation efforts for chronic or acute ENT issues, ensuring the operational readiness of the force both at home and abroad.
