A health system is seeking an otolaryngologist for locum tenens coverage.
This ENT opportunity includes both clinic and surgical responsibilities with after-hours call. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with OR time from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. After-hours call runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Candidates must be board certified with an active Alabama license or qualify through IMLC. The role involves general ENT duties, including new and established patient visits, surgical post-ops, and performing surgeries at both the main hospital and ambulatory center. The provider also covers after-hours ENT and trauma call and practice call. Expected volume is around 30-40 patients per day in clinic, including 10-15 scopes and in-office procedures, 7 patients per post-op day, and 4-5 surgical cases daily. This is a solo provider position.
