Job summary

Pittsburgh Golf Club is seeking alert lifeguards to keep members and guests safe while creating a welcoming pool environment. You will monitor water, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies with CPR/first aid as certified.

Responsibilities include supervising swimmers, inspecting areas and equipment, and reporting incidents. Excellent communication and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are required to ensure a safe and pleasant pool experience.

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certification required.
• Current CPR/AED and first-aid certification required.
• Strong swimming ability and confidence in emergency response.
• Ability to remain attentive for extended periods and act calmly under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a dependable, professional attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Season Completion Bonus

Employees who work through the full pool season in good standing will be eligible for a season-completion bonus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to swim, tread water, lift or assist swimmers, and perform rescue procedures.
