Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced professional for an onsite role in Michigan focused on OTA update deployment and ECU flashing within vehicle systems. You will validate updates across 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, and HMI modules and perform robust testing using Vector CANOE and CANalyzer tools.

The position requires strong defect and version management, experience with JIRA, Github, SVN, and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating Software updates and deploy Over-the-air (OTA).
• ECU Flashing and performing software updates via OTA, wire flashing and/ or USB in a vehicle (fleet updates).
• In-vehicle automation testing with testing tools like Vector CANOE and CANALYZER.
• Experience using issue management and version control tools (JIRA, Github, SVN).
• Perform stress, functional, feature and core hotfix testing within targeted time frames.
• OTA update validation for 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI and HMI modules.

Responsibilities

• Validate OTA software updates across vehicle modules.
• Coordinate software deployment through OTA and USB interfaces.
• Use CAN tools for in-vehicle testing and analysis.
• Record and track defects and changes in the version control system.
• Execute tests under tight schedules to ensure stability and performance.

Job description

• Experience Performing Stress, functional, feature & Core hotfix Testing for various modules in targeted time frame and runs.
• Validation experience in over-the-air updates for components 3G/4G TCUs, NAVI, HMI Modules
