Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to guide the therapy staff in delivering compassionate, individualized care during rehabilitation. The role involves implementing procedures, mentoring staff, and ensuring smooth operations across the department.

You will lead, collaborate with hospital teams, and focus on patient-centered outcomes while leveraging the latest technology in a supportive culture that values growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire in this role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and department communications.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid recovery.
