Job summary

The Lodge Health & Rehabilitation in Ocala, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. You will assess patients, plan personalized therapy programs, and help patients regain independence and improve daily living skills.

This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and participate in ongoing education to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Florida state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in subacute, acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills; ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence.
• Provide hands-on OT interventions to improve mobility, coordination, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, PTs, nurses, and social workers to coordinate care.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and document records in accordance with policies.
