Qualifications

• Active California OT license.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment.
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Proficient documentation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and design resident-centered treatment plans.
• Deliver skilled OT services focused on improving ADLs and mobility.
• Provide targeted interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute diagnoses.
• Instruct residents on adaptive strategies and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams for coordinated care.
• Communicate treatment goals and discharge planning with residents and families.
• Complete accurate documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Reassess outcomes and adjust interventions to optimize results.
