Job summary

OneZero Solutions, primarily onsite in Baltimore, seeks an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II to lead cybersecurity design for Operational Technology within SFLC. The role ensures defense-in-depth, secure architecture, and risk-informed mitigation while maintaining operational capability.

You will collaborate across acquisition, engineering, and sustainment, supporting DevSecOps, security dashboards, and IV&V deliverables for USCG C5ISR programs, with DHS/DoD policy alignment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience in security architecture or security engineering for federal systems.
• Ability to translate security requirements into implementable designs.
• Experience with governance: design reviews, change control boards.
• Knowledge of network segmentation and boundary protection.
• English fluency for government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT Security Engineer for SFLC Operational Technology.
• Develop security requirements and defense-in-depth solutions.
• Support DevSecOps activities and security dashboards.
• Assess threats and propose mitigations.
• Interface with Government stakeholders on risk and performance.
• Ensure compliance with DHS, USCG, and DoD policies.
• Lead architecture reviews and risk discussions with teams.
