Job summary

The Bethany Center For Rehabilitation And Healing is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a growing team. The therapist will assess patients needing rehabilitation, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate families. The role includes supervising OT Assistants and documenting progress under physician direction.

Full-time and PRN shifts are available. The center emphasizes compassionate patient care in a rehabilitation setting, with an emphasis on geriatric and long-term care

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Must hold a valid state license and registration.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform duties under the direction of the Physician and ensure confidentiality.
