Pikes Peak Post Acute in San Diego, CA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and develop appropriate therapy plans. You will supervise OT assistants, document progress, and coordinate discharge planning with families and the health team.
Responsibilities include treating patients per physician plans, participating in care conferences, and educating staff on maintenance programs to facilitate independence.
Pay Range: $45.00 an hour to $55.00 an hour (based on experience)

Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), aides and students.
The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: standing and/or walking very frequently, sitting occasionally, reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently, talking and/or hearing very frequently, tasting and/or smelling very frequently, exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling occasionally; close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
