Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to patients who require restoration of physical and mental functioning in order to gain independence in self-care and other activities. May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assist patients in achieving functional goals.
• Supervise OT Assistants and Aides when applicable.

Qualifications:

• Certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapy school.
• Licensed by the state in which the Occupational Therapist resides or practices.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
