Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide care in an acute care hospital in Maryland. The role focuses on adult and geriatric rehabilitation, evaluating and implementing personalized treatment plans for conditions such as hip fractures, hip replacements, knee injuries, CVA rehab, and dementia.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families on care processes and equipment, and ensure safety protocols and patient transfers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Maryland OT license required upon submission.
• Experience with cognitive assessments and adaptive equipment assessment.

Day 5x8-Hour shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide care in an acute care hospital setting, primarily focusing on adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual needs, the therapist will focus on rehabilitation for a variety of conditions including hip fractures, total hip replacements, knee injuries, and neurological disorders such as CVA rehabilitation and dementia.
