Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract in Kodiak, AK, supporting Acute Care, Outpatient, and SNF with pediatric/adolescent patients in a Critical Access Hospital.

Day shifts are available with options 5x8 or 4x10 and a guaranteed 70 hours per two weeks; there are no weekend requirements or on-call obligations. Current NBCOT, BLS, and Alaska licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Experience in Acute Care and ADLs.
• Proficient in Electrical Stimulation and Ultrasound therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to enhance patient recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in the Epic charting system.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide critical care to patients across various settings including Outpatient, Acute Care, and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). This role involves assessment and treatment of diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adolescents, in a Critical Access Hospital that supports a broad range of diagnoses.

Responsibilities

Required Experience

• Alaska State License required; pending licenses are not accepted.
