Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for our Level II trauma center partner in Texas. Focus on acute care therapy to patients with complex trauma and neuro conditions, emphasizing mobility and ADLs. You will manage a caseload and utilize standard rehab equipment and Meditech EMR.

Must hold a Texas OT license with acute care experience; trauma/neuro experience is preferred. Day shift and locational details provided by ARMStaffing during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Acute care experience required; clinical rotations considered.
• Preferred: experience with complex trauma and neuro patients.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Level II trauma center. This role involves providing acute care therapy to patients with complex trauma and neuro conditions, focusing on mobility and activities of daily living (ADL).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and ADL capabilities.
• Oversee a patient caseload of approximately 12 patients per day.
• Utilize standard rehabilitation equipment and EMR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Acute care experience is required; clinical rotations during school will be considered.
• Preferred: Experience with complex trauma and neuro patients.
