Job summary

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center in Manhattan is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will work on-site with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a person-centered care plan for residents.

New graduates welcome; structured mentorship, hands-on orientation, and ongoing clinical education are provided by our experienced clinicians. We offer growth across a 35-facility network and flexible scheduling to support work-life

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid NY OT license or license eligible.
• Ability to supervise OTAs per state act.
• Comfort with clinical documentation and discharge summaries.
• Commitment to confidentiality and resident rights.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate referred residents for medical status and rehab potential.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Deliver OT interventions focusing on ADL and safety.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge docs.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with PT/SLP/nursing/dietitian/social work for discharge readiness.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Supervise OTAs and students per state practice act.
