Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an OT Networking & Security Engineer in Houston to design secure OT network architectures and support cybersecurity initiatives across operational technology networks and control systems.

In this role you will collaborate with automation, controls, and IT teams to strengthen security, perform risk mitigation, and ensure compliance with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, or NERC CIP frameworks.

Qualifications

• OT/ICS cybersecurity experience within industrial environments.
• Knowledge of industrial networking (switches/routers/firewalls/segmentation).
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST CSF or NERC CIP frameworks.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

OT Security Engineer

We're working with a long-established engineering and technology organisation that delivers automation, controls, and critical infrastructure projects across industrial environments.

As part of continued growth, they're looking to add an OT Security Engineer to support cybersecurity initiatives across operational technology networks and control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure OT network architectures
• Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, and risk mitigation strategies
• Assist with the development and enforcement of OT security standards and best practices
• Work closely with automation, controls, and IT teams to strengthen security across industrial environments
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring activities
• Ensure compliance with recognised cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards

What They're Looking For

• Experience within OT/ICS cybersecurity environments
• Knowledge of industrial networking including switches, routers, firewalls, and segmentation
• Exposure to SCADA, PLC, DCS, HMI, or other industrial control systems
• Understanding of security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, or NERC CIP
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting critical infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or process industries is desirable
