Job summary

Intersect seeks an OT Network & Site Infrastructure Engineer to build and secure the communication backbone linking its greenfield energy facilities to corporate systems and the grid. You’ll lead on-site engineering, enforce IT/OT segmentation, manage firewalls, and integrate industrial threat detection across solar, storage, and generation assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, IT, CS or related field.
• 5+ years in network/infrastructure engineering with OT/industrial focus.
• Hands-on with enterprise/industrial hardware and segmentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement greenfield OT networks across sites.
• Deploy industrial switches, firewalls, and routing for new sites.
• Establish IT/OT segmentation architectures per Purdue model.
• Administer secure remote access: S2S VPN, ZTNA, jump servers.
• Integrate OT IDS (Nozomi/Claroty/Dragos) with CrowdStrike protection.
• Troubleshoot SCADA/Ignition network and RTU telemetry issues.
• Lead on-site during commissioning and coordinate vendors.
