Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced OT Network Engineer to implement, maintain, and secure industrial network infrastructure across the Jackson site and other plants. The role focuses on OT/IT integration, automation, and incident resolution in a manufacturing environment.

The candidate will collaborate with Automation Engineers, IT, and Information Security teams to ensure secure connectivity and audit readiness, while supporting Industry 4.0 initiatives and new OT deployments.

Qualifications

3–5 years of network administration experience, including 2+ years supporting industrial or OT networks.
Hands-on experience with industrial Ethernet, routing, switching, and network security appliances.
Working knowledge of ICS/SCADA protocols (OPC, Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, DNP3).
CCNA certification.

Design, configure, and maintain OT network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and VPN
Monitor OT network performance and proactively resolve incidents within defined SLA targets
Implement and maintain network automation practices including VLANs, device backups, and patching
Partner with Automation Engineers to support reliable ICs and SCADA system connectivity
Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to ensure secure OT/IT network integration and audit readiness
Execute network changes while supporting new OT system deployments
Identify and implement network optimization opportunities
Support Industry 4.0 initiatives with process and automation engineering teams
Support and troubleshoot the OT Network and connected devices at the Greensburg, Indiana facility

Requirements

3–5 years of network administration experience, including 2+ years supporting industrial or OT networks
Hands-on experience with industrial Ethernet, routing, switching, and network security appliances
Working knowledge of ICs/SCADA protocols (OPC, Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, DNP3)
CCNA certification
Preferred: Experience with Cisco technologies including Industrial Ethernet switches, Firepower, ISE, and Catalyst Center
Preferred: Familiarity with OT security tools such as Cyber Vision and Stealthwatch
Preferred: Knowledge of IEC standards (60870-5-101/104, 61850)
Preferred: Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
Preferred: CCNP or equivalent certification
