Job summary

Intersect is hiring an OT Network & Site Infrastructure Engineer to build and secure the IT/OT backbone for our energy facilities. You’ll deploy industrial switches, firewalls, and segmentation across new sites, and own remote access and detection platforms while collaborating with IT, SCADA, and Operations.

This role starts Aug 3, 2026 and involves up to 50% travel to Dallas, Houston, Abilene, Pampa, or Amarillo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industrial field experience.
• 5+ years of network and infrastructure engineering with OT/utility focus.
• Hands-on with enterprise/industrial hardware and IT/OT segmentation.
• Experience deploying OT threat detection and endpoint protection.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and act as on-site authority.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement greenfield OT networks across site locations.
• Maintain secure remote access platforms and OT detection systems.
• Troubleshoot SCADA/Ignition network issues and ensure uptime.
• Provide on-site technical leadership during commissioning and integration.
