Job summary

Peabody is seeking an Operations Technology Engineer to develop, configure, administer and support OT technologies for mining operations. Responsibilities include analytics, visualization, and bespoke software development for OT applications.

Based in St. Louis, MO or remotely from listed states with hybrid work policies. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of industrial tech experience are required; travel to sites may be necessary. Salary ranges from $67,000 to $82,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in industrial technology fields (manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, refining).
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, DCSs, OPC; programming in Python/SQL/C#; Power BI/SSRS.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, measure, analyze, implement and control OT projects with Operations.
• Define functional requirements through client interviews and process mapping.
• Provide design specifications and programming support for OT applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation, designs and test plans.
