Job summary

Motiva Enterprises LLC seeks an Associate Operational Technology Specialist - Cybersecurity to support the Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex. The role focuses on OT security, system reliability, and cyber hygiene across DCS, PLC, SCADA, and IIoT environments.

Responsibilities include patching, incident response, lifecycle activities, and collaboration with security teams to protect critical OT infrastructure. Strong documentation and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS or similar by Dec 2026.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with Microsoft Office operating systems.
• Experience developing custom scripts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with databases and writing queries.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn new IT/OT skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor OT systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, IIoT) to maintain availability.
• Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and antivirus updates on OT assets.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for OT hardware/software/connectivity.
• Support OT cybersecurity reviews and risk assessments in coordination with security teams.
• Assist with OT hardware/software lifecycle activities and backups.
• Monitor alerts and network connectivity to preempt issues.
• Maintain OT documentation and asset information for compliance.
• Assist with OT reporting using SQL and standard tools.
• Support development activities and code repos; manage tickets.
• Provide off-hours support as needed.
