Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support therapy services across our post-acute care settings. The role involves executing the OT care plan, performing clinical tasks, and documenting progress under supervision.

You must hold a license in your state, graduate from ACOTE-accredited program, and be eligible to sit NBCOT. We offer merit increases, relocation opportunities, and access to Foundation & University resources.

Qualifications

• Communicate with patients and document tasks clearly.
• Provide hands-on OT care under supervision according to the plan.
• Maintain adherence to state practice acts and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the occupational therapy care plan and treatment to patients as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to the State Practice Acts
• Perform clinical tasks, and communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor
