Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation to You is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement approved OT programs in facility-based settings across California. You will follow recovery plans, deliver therapy, and help patients regain independence while collaborating with the rehab team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and flexibility to address individual patient needs in various care settings. Licensing or eligibility to practice in California is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with OT programs and activities per established plans.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with Director of Rehab and rehab team to coordinate care.
• Support patient independence and functional goals during therapy sessions.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to promote recovery.

Education
