Ensign Services is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Thornton, Colorado. In this role, you will provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with cognitive and physical disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include administering various rehabilitation procedures and assessing patient progress.
This position offers a flexible PRN schedule with potential for set hours when covering vacations. All experience levels are encouraged to apply, with pay rates being competitive based on experience.
Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices. Assesses patient progress and communicates with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly. Reports effectiveness of treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
PRN: Flexible schedule. Opportunities for a set schedule when covering vacations. Receives early calls or texts for last‑minute coverage request scenarios. Participates in CEU classes offered to the entire therapy team.
