MGA Healthcare Texas LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to treat neuromuscular and developmental dysfunction in home health settings. The OT will design and implement task‑directed activities to improve patient function and comply with MGA policies.
The role requires state licensure with NBCOT/AOTA certification, internship completion, and valid CPR. Travel to patient homes is expected, with documentation and collaboration across the care team.
Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist treats neuromuscular and developmental dysfunction, caused by disease, trauma, congenital anomaly, or prior therapeutic process, through the use of specific tasks or goal directed activities designed to improve functional performance of the patient and compliance with applicable laws, regulations & policies of MGA.
The work environment is highly variable, as care is generally provided in private homes. Lighting, acoustics, air quality, temperature and environment hazards are not predictable. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, household pets/animals, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is required to travel frequently to complete home health visits.
