Job summary

Dartmouth Health's Cheshire Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Keene, NH seeks an osteopathic physician to join as Director of Osteopathic Education, leading the OMM curriculum, supervising residents, and contributing to curriculum development.

The successful candidate will practice full-scope family medicine, participate in academic appointments, mentor residents, and help shape the program's growth within a supportive community hospital.

Qualifications

• ACGME-accredited teaching experience preferred; strong interest in teaching welcome
• Clinically active in Family Medicine
• Involvement in curriculum development and medical pedagogy
• Demonstrated scholarly activity

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients in the community
• Oversee OMM curriculum for residents, including didactics and integration into care
• Provide supervision and mentoring to residents and medical students in inpatient/outpatient settings
• Teach didactics and contribute to curriculum development, simulation, and practice management
• Provide regular resident and student evaluation/feedback
• Participate in rounds, journal clubs, conferences, and residency committees
• Pursue faculty development annually
• Advise and mentor on professionalism, well-being, career planning, and scholarship
• Pursue scholarly activities including presentations, committees, grants, and publications
• Incorporate learning culture emphasizing quality, equity, and population health
