*Role Overview*

Queen's Elite Academy is seeking an innovative *Course Developer* to spearhead the evolution of our OSSD curriculum. The successful candidate will blend traditional pedagogical excellence with modern AI techniques to create engaging course materials that are fully compliant with both Ministry standards and internal development SOPs. You will be responsible for ensuring that our courses not only meet OSSD standards but also leverage AI to enhance personalized learning and academic integrity.

*Key Responsibilities*

• * *Curriculum Design:* Develop and update OSSD course content (Units, Lessons, Assignments, and Rubrics) in alignment with the Ontario Curriculum and _Growing Success_ assessment policies.


• * *AI-Enhanced Development:* *Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to streamline the course creation process, including automated content generation, lesson structuring, and the development of adaptive learning paths.


• * *Quality Assurance:* Ensure all developed materials meet the rigorous standards for inspections and credit integrity.

*Qualifications*

• * *Education:* A bachelor's degree is required.


• * *Experience:* Proven track record in *OSSD course development* and previous teaching experience.


• * *Technical Proficiency:* Strong familiarity with AI techniques, including Prompt Engineering, LLM applications in education, and AI detection/mitigation strategies.


• * *Regulatory Knowledge:* Deep understanding of the Ontario Ministry of Education’s secondary curriculum and inspection requirements.


• * *Professional Certification:* *OCT certification* (Ontario College of Teachers) is preferred.

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
