Job summary

QXO is seeking an energetic operations support professional to help manage a busy branch office. You will perform a variety of tasks across purchasing, accounting, credit/collections, IT and HR administration, while ensuring efficient daily operations and strong internal communications.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, with leadership qualities and bilingual English/Spanish abilities; travel is local and limited. The role may involve lifting and physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • If operating a vehicle, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Previous experience in administrative services or related fields.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Support busy branch office with multiple responsibilities.
  • Handle day-to-day operations focusing on efficiency and time management.
  • Assist in purchasing, accounting, credit/collections, IT and administrative tasks.
  • Manage records and information.
  • Perform accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Monitor credit and collections activities.
  • Convert quotes to work orders daily.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices.
  • Provide HR administrative assistance to management.
  • Improve cross-department internal communication.
  • Perform general office tasks (supplies, mail, custodial).

Your Responsibilities
  • Searching for an energetic operational support professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats to manage our busy branch office!
  • If you are a reliable, well-organized person who can handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management, we want to talk to you!
  • You will be responsible for a variety of tasks from the compliance of purchasing, accounting, credit/collections, IT and overall administrative requirements.
  • Manage records and information.
  • Perform accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Monitor credit and collections activities.
  • Manage daily conversion of quotes to work orders.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices.
  • Provide HR administrative assistance to management teams.
  • Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication.
  • Perform general office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.).
  • Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
Your Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks.
  • Strong leadership qualities.

Travel Requirements: Type of Travel Required: Local. Amount of Travel Required: <10%

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00
