Responsibilities

• The OSP Engineer will perform all aspects of OSP engineering, including engineering of line extensions for service order activity, pole replacements, facility installations, and facility relocation.
• Duties include OSP staking, work order package preparation (field notes, cut sheets, schematics), acquiring permits and private rights‑of‑way.
• The OSP Engineer must be familiar with OSP design and planning, construction, and perform cost analysis to determine the most cost‑effective and efficient placement of communications facilities.

Daily Responsibilities

The OSP Engineer will perform all aspects of OSP engineering, including engineering of line extensions for service order activity, pole replacements, facility installations, and facility relocation. The duties include OSP staking, work order package preparation (field notes, cut sheets, schematics), acquiring permits and private rights‑of‑way. The OSP Engineer must be familiar with OSP design and planning, construction, and perform cost analysis to determine the most cost‑effective and efficient placement of communications facilities.
