Legion Systems is seeking an OSINT/PAI Targeting Analyst (Language Enabled) - Expert to support national security missions from our Washington, DC office. The role requires deep OSINT experience, language proficiency, and the ability to produce high-quality intelligence assessments for special operations and cyber contexts.

The candidate will interface with the Intelligence Community, utilizing public and commercial data while adhering to OSINT authorities and policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of total experience as an intelligence analyst within the DoD or the Intelligence Community.
• Minimum of two (2) years of specific experience in OSINT/PAI exploitation, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in the current suite of available all-source intelligence tools, databases, and repositories.
• Strong proficiency in the current suite of available OSINT/PAI tools, databases, and repositories.
• Understanding of OSINT/PAI authorities, regulations, and policy.
• Strong written communications skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal briefing skills, able to brief at the O4/GS13 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced collection, PED, reporting, and targeting using open and commercial data sources.
• Interface with the Intelligence Community to produce assessments in support of special operations, targeting, HUMINT and exploitation operations, cyber operations.
• Fuse publicly available information for multi-intelligence assessments.

Compensation

Legion Systems expects to offer a salary range of $120,000-$132,000 for this opportunity, based on information available when the position is advertised. The actual offer will consider the candidate’s qualifications-including professional experience, skills, academic background, and credentials—along with job responsibilities, geographic location, required clearance, current labor market trends, compensation alignment within the organization, and contractual obligations.

Description

OSINT Analysts are responsible for conducting advanced collection, Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (PED), reporting, and targeting using publicly available and commercially available data sources. OSINT Analysts shall interface with the Intelligence Community to produce intelligence assessments in support of special operations, targeting, HUMINT and exploitation operations, cyber operations, and indications and warnings threat estimates. OSINT Analysts shall fuse publicly available and commercially available information for multi-intelligence assessments.

Required Skills

• Minimum of six (6) years of total experience as an intelligence analyst within the DoD or the Intelligence Community.
• Minimum of two (2) years of specific experience in OSINT/PAI exploitation, analysis, and reporting. Prior experience providing OSINT analytic support to special operations in preferred. (Note: experience with traditional/legacy OSINT duties (i.e. reviewing, translating, and/or reporting on feeds from domestic or foreign PAI, social media, or news sources) will not be considered equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in the current suite of available all-source intelligence tools, databases, and repositories.
• Strong proficiency in the current suite of available specific OSINT/PAI tools, databases, and repositories, as well as OSINT research and methodology.
• Understanding of OSINT/PAI authorities, regulations, and policy.
• Strong written communications skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Strong verbal briefing skills, able to brief at the O4/GS13 level or above.

The position of OSINT/PAI Targeting Analyst (Language Enabled) - Expert shall possess the following qualifications:

• All qualifications of OSINT/PAI Targeting Analyst - Expert are required.
• Must demonstrate foreign language proficiency (reading, listening, writing, speaking) on a designated language as identified by the Government. At the Government’s discretion, analytic experience qualification requirements may be reduced or waived to meet the language proficiency requirement.
