Qualifications

• Forklift experience in corrugated manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset.
• Prior Work Experience As a Forklift Operator Preferred.
• Knowledge of product quality specifications.
• Knowledge equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries.
• Operate and care of forklift in a safe manner.
• Complete forklift inspections before shift and after changing forklifts.
• Locate stock before the start of the run.
• Deliver stock to machines safely and on time.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maximize equipment utilization and meet production schedule.
• Prepare reports including production data and safety data.
• Duties may expand with additional duties.
