Job summary

Umanist Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Pharmaceutical Production Operators for a full-time role in Chantilly, VA. The position focuses on OSD manufacturing, compression, coating, and related processes in a cGMP/FDA-regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating, setting up, cleaning, and troubleshooting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, with 3+ years in OSD/Solid Dose production and a strong understanding of cGMP and FDA requirements.

Qualifications

• OSD / Solid Dose pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is mandatory.
• Level II requires 3–7 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; Level III requires 7+ years.
• Hands-on experience operating, setting up, cleaning, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a cGMP/FDA environment.
• Experience with compression, granulation, encapsulation, coating, or Wurster coating is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment according to SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Perform weighing, dispensing, blending, granulation, drying, milling, compression, encapsulation, and/or coating processes.
• Set up, clean, dismantle, and operate production equipment.
• Perform equipment changeovers between batches.
• Complete Batch Production Records, logbooks, and other manufacturing documentation accurately.
• Perform in-process quality checks and batch sampling.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing/process issues and escalate deviations appropriately.
• Verify raw materials, labels, QC release tags, and batch documentation before production.
• Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing area.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Follow all FDA, cGMP, SOP, safety, and company requirements.
