Job summary

Natural University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR is seeking Standardized Patients to support the College of Naturopathic Medicine through in-class simulations and OSCE exams.

Models may participate in pelvic, genitalia, proctology, and cardio examinations, providing accurate portrayals while maintaining confidentiality and constructive feedback for student learning. Prior experience as a medical model is preferred; diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Standardized Patient/medical model.
• OSCE facilitation involves memorized case information and staged history.
• Confidentiality and professional conduct are required.

Responsibilities

• Model for invasive and non-invasive exams in OSCEs.
• Follow confidentiality guidelines for exam processes and cases.
• Provide constructive feedback and training to students in a positive manner.
• Memorize case details for OSCE scenarios.
• Represent diverse patient populations and encourage inclusion.
