Qualifications

• Experience designing or securing operating systems, kernels, or privileged systems software.
• Strong knowledge of OS internals: memory protection, isolation, and privilege boundaries.
• Experience building security architectures across hardware, firmware, OS, apps, and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Define OS security architecture, trust boundaries, and data protections.
• Collaborate with hardware security architects to integrate roots of trust.
• Design secure boot, code signing, attestation, and secure updates.
• Establish isolation and access controls across kernel, apps, and services.
• Define guardrails for AI apps and agents access to information and tools.
• Lead threat modeling and architecture reviews across the platform.
• Prototype solutions and guide engineering teams through security tradeoffs.
