Job summary

Carolina Auto Auction is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Williamston, SC team. You will conduct full vehicle reviews for clients and guide reconditioning to meet client guidelines in preparation for sale.

Responsibilities include locating vehicles for commercial clients, assigning work to mechanics, and communicating repair estimates. You’ll ensure timely completion and alignment with client expectations and our sale schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service background preferably in the auction or automotive repair industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good computer knowledge, specifically with MS Excel, MS Office, Mitchell.

Responsibilities

• Locate and review vehicles for assigned commercial client.
• Provide instruction to reconditions and repairs based on client guidelines.
• Assign reconditioning work orders to vehicles per client guidelines.
• Communicate repair recommendations to client based on vehicle review.
• Assign vehicles to the mechanic shop per client certifications and approved repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are completed and lined up for sale within client and Carolina Auto Auction timelines.
• Complete review of run with client representative the day prior to the run.

You will provide instruction to reconditions and repair areas in accordance with our clients specific guidelines to prepare vehicles for sale.As a commercial account coordinator, you will perform the following tasks:Locate and review vehicles for assigned commercial client.Ensure condition reports accurately reflect condition issues both body and mechanical.Assign reconditioning work orders to vehicles based on client’s guidelines.Communicate repair recommendations to client based on review of car via written estimates.Assign vehicles to the mechanic shop based on client’s guidelines regarding certifications and approved repairs.Ensure client’s vehicles are completed and lined up for the sale within the expectation of the client and Carolina Auto Auction.Complete review of run with client representative the day prior to the run.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCOMPETENCIESCustomer service background, preferably in the auction or automotive repair industry.Strong communication skills.Good computer knowledge, specifically with MS Excel, MS Office, Mitchell.EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or GED required.Post high school training in damage assessment is preferred.EXPERIENCE At least two year's experience in estimating auto repair.Carolina Auto Auction is Family Owned and Operated.E04JI800j46e409f3r2
