Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating the treatment plan by performing diagnosis-specific functional examinations.
• Consult with other health care professionals and caregivers to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Document patient history, ongoing care and follow-up using established record-keeping techniques.
• Identify materials and specifications for orthosis/prosthesis and oversee fabrication.
• Educate patients and caregivers on use and maintenance of devices; develop follow-up plans.
