Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled technician for orthotic and prosthetic fabrication in Flowood, MS. The position requires a high school diploma and strong mechanical abilities.

Job Shift: Day

Responsibilities

• Repair & fabricate orthoses and/or prostheses
• Measure and fit clients for basic O&P soft goods and venous pumps
• Assist clinicians with patient fittings
• Inventory supplies/materials
• Maintenance of equipment
• Routine department clean-up

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent mechanical and creative abilities
• Prefer a certificate from an Orthotic/Prosthetic Technical School and/or past experience at an Accredited Orthotic/Prosthetic facility
• Exposure or experience to various hand tools, power tools or other relevant experience is desired
• Visual ability required, as well as verbal and written communication skill
