Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in orthotic and prosthetic patient care. You will prep treatment rooms, assist with fabrication and modifications, and help with documentation and inventory management.

Under supervision, you will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care while coordinating tasks and materials to support clinicians and patients alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• If the Clinical Assistant holds a licensed/certified allied health credential, supervision may be indirect.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Perform fabrication tasks and modify molds as directed.
• Execute treatment modifications and repairs under supervision.
• Provide orthotics fitting services and adjust soft goods as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Communicate patient information and outcomes to supervising clinician.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety, and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors for materials and supplies; maintain clean work environment.
