Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking an Orthoptist to join our eye care team. You will assess, diagnose, and manage disorders of eye movements and binocular vision, working with ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive patient care including diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and patient education.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential. The ideal candidate is collaborative, with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for improving visual outcomes across all ages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Orthoptics or related field.
• Certification through the AACO.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in pediatric or neuro-ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage disorders of eye movements and binocular vision.
• Perform diagnostic testing and develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and support ophthalmic surgical care.
