Healthcare Recruitment Counselors seeks a compassionate Orthopedist to join a private practice in the Wilmington/Middletown, DE area on a part-time basis (1-2 days per month).

Responsibilities include initial and follow-up patient care, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and coordinating with a team to deliver exceptional musculoskeletal care. Requires DE license, BCBE Orthopedist credentials, and a history of favorable malpractice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• BCBE Orthopedist certification or credentials.
• Unrestricted license to practice in Delaware (DE).
• Favorable malpractice history.
• BLS/ACLS certification and DEA license.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care and management for orthopedic patients.

1-2 days per monthWe are seeking a compassionate Orthopedist to join our medical practice part time in the Wilmington and Middletown DE area. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The Physician will be splitting the coverage at our 2 offices in Wilmington and Middletown part time 1-2 days per month.

Job Duties

• Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow up
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• Order Diagnostic labs/imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Documentation - timely and accurate
• Order/refer to in house therapies
• Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goals

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BCBE Orthopedist
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the States of DE
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDEA license

Schedule:

• Part time (1-2 days per month)
• No Call or Weekends!

Salary:

• $175-$200 per hour (Depending on experience, credentials)
