Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse for our Surgical Specialties/Orthopedics unit, a 30-bed inpatient team with private rooms and advanced monitoring capabilities. The nurses provide exceptional post-operative care in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork.

You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a family-like, supportive culture. Experience in hospital nursing and DC RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior hospital-based clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Active DC RN license and BLS for Healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families with varying complexity.
• Identify current and potential complex problems and analyze trends to plan interventions.
