Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy Assistant to treat orthopedic and sports medicine patients. You will perform initial patient evaluations and work as part of the Rehabilitation Department under the Rehab Services Manager, with shifts including evenings and potential Saturdays.

Requirements include an Ohio PTA license and an associate degree; sports medicine/orthopedics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• OTC PTA license in Ohio required.
• Experience in sports medicine and orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat orthopedic and sports medicine patients, including post-operative, chronic, and acute pathologies.
• Perform initial evaluations of assigned patients.
• Work under supervision of Rehab Services Manager as part of the Rehabilitation Department team.
• Shifts may include evenings and Saturdays.

Education

Associate degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

PTA license in Ohio

Experience in sports medicine / orthopedics (preferred)
