Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedics to join our St. Louis area team. The role uses the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring rights and confidentiality while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Full-time, day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, located at Mercy Hospital South. Requires Missouri RN license or compact licensure and BLS; hospital experience preferred and BSN welcomed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri or compact licensure
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
