Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) has an opportunity for an Orthopedic Physician Assistant working with military families at Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, ARC-PA accreditation, NCCPA certification, an active PA license, and BLS. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with 8 hours per day, and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

SHR provides a mission-driven environment serving U.S. Military Treatment Facilities and VA clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• ARC-PA accreditation required and acceptable to Surgeon General, USAF.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted PA license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic physician assistant support in military healthcare settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient care to military families.
• Adhere to a Monday–Friday schedule with 8 hours per day and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

• Bachelor's degree
• Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC- PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory.
• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA)
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Any State)
• BLS
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• 8 hours a day
